I.T. Support Level Specialist - Level II

Do you have experience in Customer communication?, Do you have a Associate’s degree?, + Certification in CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Server+, CompTIA A+ - preferred.

• Strong knowledge of hardware and software troubleshooting and repair.
• Advanced knowledge of User Management systems (Active Directory, Google Workspace, Office 365)
• Advanced experience with Email systems (Google Workspace and Office 365)
• Advanced knowledge of Internet services, applications, and networking protocols.
• Experience with advanced network troubleshooting.
• Advanced knowledge of Windows Server operating systems and various virtualization software
• Experience with server configuration and administration
• Strong knowledge of Operating Systems and their respective devices (Windows, macOS, ChromeOS and iOS).
• Experience with help desk and inventory systems.
• Ability to multitask efficiently.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to be a team leader and provide instruction to Level I technicians
• Must be able to lift equipment up to 50lbs and pass a background check.
• 2-3 years of experience in a technical support role
• Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Must be able to perform physical work, which requires frequent bending and lifting.
• Independently lift up to 25 lbs. or with assistance over 25 lbs.
• Independently carry up to 25 lbs. or with assistance over 25 lbs.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
• New Jersey residence required within one (1) year from date of hire.
