Job description
Join our dynamic IT support team as an IT Support Engineer within the Ocubis-Pavilion-Team, where your expertise will drive seamless technology operations and exceptional user experiences. In this role, you will be the frontline problem solver, providing technical assistance, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring our network and systems run smoothly. Your proactive approach and strong communication skills will empower users and uphold the integrity of our IT infrastructure. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to grow your skills in a fast-paced environment dedicated to innovation and excellence., · Respond to and resolve IT support tickets via phone, email, and in person, within agreed service levels
· Set up, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
· Support user accounts, permissions, and access requests (e.g. Active Directory, Microsoft 365)
· Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues, escalating complex problems as needed
· Maintain accurate records of issues, resolutions, and equipment in the ticketing system and asset register
· Assist with onboarding and offboarding of staff, including equipment setup and account provisioning
· Support basic network troubleshooting (Wi-Fi, VPN, printers, shared drives)
· Contribute to IT documentation and knowledge base articles

Requirements
· Previous experience in an IT support or helpdesk role (or equivalent through study/qualifications)
· Working knowledge of Windows operating systems; familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Active Directory
· Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
· Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues in plain terms
· A methodical, calm approach to troubleshooting and prioritising tasks
· Good customer service skills and a genuine willingness to help
· Relevant qualifications (e.g. CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation) are a plus but not essential
