Mid-Senior Level | $90,000 - $142,000 | Colorado Springs, CO | TS/SCI Clearance Required Protect critical systems. Strengthen national defense. Join a mission-focused cybersecurity team safeguarding classified DoD environments. A Day in the Life - What you’ll do

  • Maintain and enhance the cybersecurity posture of classified information systems supporting Department of Defense missions
  • Partner with ISSMs, ISOs, engineers, and government stakeholders to manage RMF compliance, vulnerability mitigation, and continuous monitoring activities
  • Coordinate system security changes, configuration management efforts, audit readiness, and security documentation
  • Conduct security assessments, audit reviews, and compliance reporting for internal leadership and external government agencies
  • Support incident response activities, system recovery planning, and implementation of cybersecurity best practices across mission environments, Documentation & Audit

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required
  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics)
  • 5-15 years of experience in cybersecurity, information assurance, or ISSO-related roles supporting DoD or government systems
  • Strong understanding of Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes and security impact analysis
  • Experience supporting NIST 800-53 and DoD cybersecurity compliance requirements
  • Ability to manage security documentation, audits, and continuous monitoring activities
  • Experience working within classified computing environments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interface with technical teams and senior leadership
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Security Authorization Packages and accreditation processes
  • Knowledge of DoD 8500 Series policies and procedures
  • Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems in secure enterprise environments
  • Experience with vulnerability assessment and remediation activities
  • Understanding of secure media handling procedures and classified data protection
  • Experience with audit log management, incident documentation, and cybersecurity reporting
  • Knowledge of logical and physical system topology design
  • Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as Security+, CISSP, CASP+, or CISM
