Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you will advance robot learning and perception for real-world systems within Berkshire Grey’s Research & Advanced Development group. You will contribute to training ML architectures for robot learning and visual scene understanding, and help scale a robot policy learning data collection tool. You will prototype solutions end-to-end, from demos to production-ready features, working with cross-functional teams and external research partners. Your work will impact how robots understand and interact with their environment at scale, in a fast-paced, cutting-edge environment. Compensation / Benefits * Contribute to training and adapting machine learning architectures for robot learning and visual scene understanding * Develop and improve the robot policy learning data collection application * Identify suitable demonstrations, logs, sensor data, and annotations for fine-tuning robot foundation models * Stay current with robotics advancements and evaluate applicability to BG challenges * Collaborate with external research partners on BG problem space * Mentor junior engineers or interns * Prototype solutions quickly and create demos for stakeholders * Own solutions from prototype to production-ready features Tasks * Master’s degree in Robotics, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Computer Science or related field * Experience in software development in robotics or automation * Strong development expertise in Python and C++ * Experience with Git and CI/CD tooling * Experience in ROS or ROS2 * Experience designing and implementing software for real robots and troubleshooting * Ability to work in fast-paced environments with changing priorities * Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders Key requirements *
