Job description

Design, develop and maintain websites and web applications using Optimizely CMS
Develop and customise content management solutions to meet client requirements
Work with Umbraco CMS projects where required
Build reusable, scalable and maintainable code following industry best practice
Develop integrations with third-party systems, APIs and enterprise platforms
Collaborate with UX/UI Designers to deliver responsive, user-friendly websites
Participate in technical design sessions and solution architecture discussions
Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers where appropriate
Diagnose and resolve software defects and performance issues
Produce technical documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Support testing, deployment and post-implementation activities
Work collaboratively within Agile development teams

Requirements

Commercial experience developing with Optimizely CMS
Strong C# and .NET development experience
Experience with ASP.NET Core and MVC
Experience building and maintaining CMS-driven websites
Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript
Experience with SQL Server
Experience consuming and developing REST APIs
Familiarity with Git version control
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Commercial experience with Umbraco CMS is desirable
Experience with additional CMS platforms is desirable
Knowledge of Optimizely Commerce is desirable
Experience with headless CMS architectures is desirable
Experience using Azure and Azure DevOps is desirable
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines is desirable
Experience with React, Vue.js or modern JavaScript frameworks is desirable
Knowledge of Search & Navigation is desirable
Experience with performance optimisation and website security is desirable
Familiarity with Azure App Services and cloud-hosted solutions is desirable
Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments is desirable
