WCS Developer

UST is searching for WCS Developer who will integrate WCS with WMS, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), and MHE (Material Handling Equipment).

The opportunity:

• Develop real-time control logic for conveyors, sorters, AS/RS, and robotics systems

• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in production environments

• Work closely with operations, engineering, and IT teams to optimize warehouse workflows

• Participate in system testing, commissioning, and deployment activities

• Monitor system performance and implement enhancements

• Maintain technical documentation and system configurations

Do you have experience in Warehouse management system?, * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

• 3-8 years of experience in WCS/WMS development or warehouse automation

• Strong programming skills in Java, C#, or C++

• Experience with messaging systems (MQ, Kafka, REST APIs)

• Knowledge of PLC integration (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley)

• Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics processes

• Familiarity with databases (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL)

• Experience with real-time systems and event-driven architecture, application development,javascript,html,react native

They are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.
