Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced Cloud Network Engineer Contractor to support the design, implementation, automation, and operational support of enterprise network services across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. This role will partner with network, cloud, security, and infrastructure teams to modernize networking capabilities, enable secure cloud connectivity, and support our client’’s ongoing cloud transformation initiatives across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and OCI.

Requirements

Multi-Cloud Networking: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, OCI
Network Automation: Terraform/OpenTofu, Python, Ansible
Enterprise Networking & Security: Routing, firewalls, DNS, hybrid connectivity, * Experience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting enterprise network infrastructure across both on-premises and public cloud environments.
Multi-Cloud Security

Strong knowledge of cloud-native networking and security technologies across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

Automation & Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

Experience with network automation and Infrastructure as Code using:
Terraform Cloud / OpenTofu
Python
Ansible
GitHub
REST APIs

Core Network Services

Strong understanding of:
Routing & Switching
Firewalls
DNS
Hybrid cloud networking and connectivity

Troubleshooting & Cross-Functional Collaboration

Ability to troubleshoot complex networking issues.
Experience collaborating across cloud engineering, security, and infrastructure teams to resolve technical challenges.
