Job description
- Develop and implement front-end features using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, Vue.js, and Bootstrap to create responsive and visually appealing websites.
- Build robust back-end systems utilizing frameworks such as Node.js, Django, ASP.NET Core, Ruby on Rails, and Spring Framework to support seamless web services and APIs.
- Manage databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, SQL Server (Microsoft SQL Server), SQLite, and Redis to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and prototypes into functional web interfaces that prioritize usability and accessibility.
- Optimize websites for SEO best practices and performance metrics to enhance visibility and user engagement.
- Utilize version control systems like Git and GitHub for code management; implement continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines with Jenkins or Azure DevOps for streamlined releases.
- Conduct unit testing and code reviews to maintain high-quality standards; leverage tools such as Visual Studio, Selenium, or Jest for testing purposes.
- Participate in Agile development processes including Scrum or Kanban; use project management tools like Jira or Trello to track progress effectively.
- Ensure security best practices by integrating data visualization tools securely with RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, GraphQL endpoints, and web services architecture.
- Maintain documentation of system architecture, API specifications, and development workflows to support ongoing maintenance and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Proven experience in front-end development using HTML5, CSS3 (including SCSS/SASS), JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular or Vue.js.
- Strong back-end development skills with experience in Node.js, Django (Python), ASP.NET Core (.NET), Ruby on Rails or Spring Framework (Java).
- Proficiency in database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server (Microsoft SQL Server), MongoDB or SQLite; solid understanding of SQL queries.
- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker; experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices including Jenkins automation server or Ansible for deployment automation; experience with Linux environments is preferred.
- Ability to implement responsive web design principles ensuring optimal performance across devices; understanding of UX principles is essential.
- Experience working with version control systems such as Git (GitHub) or SVN; familiarity with system architecture design is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent communication abilities; ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams following SDLC methodologies like Scrum or Waterfall.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field; relevant certifications in web development or cloud computing are desirable.
