Job description

You’ll support a varied customer base, dealing with different technical issues every day and building your experience across Microsoft 365, Windows, networking, Wi-Fi and wider IT infrastructure. What you’ll be doing

  • Providing 1st Line IT support by phone, email and remotely
  • Diagnosing and resolving technical issues
  • Managing support tickets from initial contact through to resolution
  • Supporting Microsoft 365 and Windows environments
  • Troubleshooting hardware, software and connectivity problems
  • Supporting LAN/WAN and managed Wi-Fi
  • Keeping customers updated on the progress of their tickets
  • Escalating more complex issues to the wider technical team
  • Working to agreed SLAs

Requirements

You’ll ideally already have experience in a 1st Line IT Support, Helpdesk or Service Desk role and be confident dealing directly with customers.

Experience with some of the following would be useful:

  • Microsoft 365 support and administration
  • Windows desktop support
  • Windows Server
  • PC hardware troubleshooting
  • LAN/WAN networking
  • Managed Wi-Fi
  • Backups and software updates
  • Virtualisation
  • Mac OS

You don’t need to tick every box. If you have a good grounding in IT support, enjoy troubleshooting and want to continue developing your technical skills, we’d like to hear from you.

Previous experience working for an MSP would be an advantage.

A full UK driving licence is required. What’s on offer?

  • £24,000 - £27,000 depending on experience
  • Permanent, full-time position
  • Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5.00pm
