Job description
The Test Analyst will provide testing expertise and analytical support across a range of projects, including technical initiatives, infrastructure projects, and new business process implementations. The role operates within a project management environment and requires close collaboration with teams in both the US and UK, working partially within UK business hours.
You will deliver endtoend testing services-covering functional, nonfunctional, integration, and regression testing-while coordinating UAT activities, producing core testing documentation, and managing defects throughout their lifecycle. Projects may follow waterfall, iterative, or agile (Scrum) methodologies., The Test Analyst will be responsible for: -
- Collaborate with project teams and business stakeholders to define and prioritize test scenarios, test cases, and schedules.
- Recommend appropriate testing approaches based on project type (e.g., BAU, ERP, digital transformation).
- Develop realistic testing timelines and secure stakeholder alignment.
- Perform system integration and systemlevel testing.
- Create and execute test plans, scenarios, cases, and scripts.
- Provide testing guidance and coaching to teams unfamiliar with testing practices.
- Analyze and report on test progress and results.
- Manage the full defect lifecycle and provide clear reporting to stakeholders.
- Produce test metrics and results for project team review.
- Recommend and implement improvements to testing processes and techniques.
- Offer guidance on CI/CD architecture to support the creation of test environment pipelines.
Requirements
- 10years+ experience as a hands-on Test Analyst.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC within complex enterprise and integration projects.
- Ability to design, build, and execute manual test scripts aligned with functional requirements.
- Experience working with stakeholders unfamiliar with testing practices.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB).
- Practical experience working in agile Scrum teams.
- Skilled in writing detailed manual test scenarios and scripts.
- Experience testing APIs using tools such as Postman or SOAPUI.
- Proven ability to develop test plans and coordinate testing across internal teams and thirdparty vendors.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Experience collaborating with global teams.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to build strong crossfunctional relationships.
- Participation in Scrum ceremonies and development of targeted test plans.
- Close collaboration with development and business teams during testing phases.
- Experience performing integration, performance, and stress testing, including post release validation.
Desired Skills
- Experience across multiple testing disciplines (Regression, Integration, Web, System, Acceptance, UAT).
- Conduct AI model testing to validate accuracy, reliability, bias, and performance across realworld scenarios.
- Test AIdriven features endtoend to confirm data integrity, model performance, and alignment with business requirements.
- ERP testing experience (Order Management, Inventory, Shipping).
- Familiarity with tools such as TestRail, Xray, JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Git.
- Experience in agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, DSDM, TDD, BDD).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
