Job description

Experteer Overview In this role, you will design, develop and deliver enhancements to the core BSS/OSS products for a telecommunications client. You will work hands-on with a cross-functional team to implement new features and optimisations, ensuring quality through code reviews and testing. The position involves Agile collaboration, sprint planning, and ongoing support for fixes and performance improvements. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused opportunity to shape BSS capabilities in a cloud-enabled, microservices context. You will contribute to meaningful scale and impact within the product suite and engineering practice. Pay / Benefits * Design and develop customisations of BSS products * Develop new R&D features and modules for inclusion in the product suite * Perform code reviews, unit testing, and ensure compliance with development standards * Work collaboratively in Agile environments and contribute to sprint planning and estimations * Support bug fixing, performance optimisation, and integration testing Tasks * Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and J2EE * Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, Microservices, and Containerisation (Kubernetes/OpenShift) * Solid understanding of RDBMS, SQL, and PL/SQL * Experience with Angular, JavaScript, Bootstrap, HTML5, and CSS3 * Familiarity with application servers such as JBoss or Oracle 10gAS * Proficiency in Git-based source control, debugging, and build tools (e.g., Maven, Jenkins) * Knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies Key requirements *
