Python Engineer

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Python and FastAPI.

Build and optimize database solutions using PostgreSQL.

Develop and support cloud-native applications in AWS or other cloud platforms.

Collaborate with product managers, architects, and development teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical decision-making.

Troubleshoot and resolve application performance and scalability issues.

Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and promote engineering best practices.

Contribute to Agile ceremonies and help drive continuous improvement across the team.

5-8 years of professional software engineering experience.

Strong hands-on experience with Python development.

Experience building RESTful APIs with FastAPI or similar frameworks.

Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and relational database design.

Experience developing applications in cloud environments, preferably AWS (Azure or GCP experience also considered).

Understanding of microservices architecture, API design, and software engineering best practices.

Strong communication skills and the ability to mentor and guide team members.
