Job description
The Technical Support Specialist provides critical agronomic and technical support for Huber AgroSolutions (HAS) across the U.S. Pacific Northwest. This role leads field trials, delivers technical training, and supports product positioning to drive commercial success across specialty crop markets. Partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Innovation teams, this position plays a key role in translating science into practical field solutions that enhance product performance, customer adoption, and market growth., * Design, manage, and analyze field trials, including protocol development, data interpretation, and reporting.
- Collaborate with universities and research partners to execute trials and validate product performance.
- Develop technical presentations, training materials, and sales collateral aligned by crop and product.
- Support sales activities through product expertise, customer presentations, and on-field demonstrations.
- Build relationships with growers, consultants, distributors, and industry stakeholders to drive adoption.
- Address customer inquiries and investigate product performance issues, including root cause analyses.
- Provide field insights to Product Management and Innovation teams to support product development and positioning.
- Support product commercialization and pre-launch activities through late-stage testing and application planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, Biology, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of agronomic or agricultural experience, preferably in the Pacific Northwest.
- Strong expertise in specialty crop production systems and field trial design.
- Experience with experimental design and analysis; ARM software preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with a customer-focused, results-driven approach.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to travel 40%+
Benefits & conditions
[$85,400.00 - $110,900.00]
In addition to base compensation, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and profit-sharing payout.
