Job description

We’re seeking a Senior Systems Administrator who can manage, maintain, and optimize our systems while delivering exceptional support to our team. The company facilities currently includes:
- 29 retail locations throughout Indiana, primarily concentrated within the Indianapolis metropolitan area
- One corporate office that also houses an optical manufacturing laboratory

Expected Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, with on-call and after-hours rotation as required., * Install, configure, and maintain servers and network systems.
- Oversee and optimize organizational network operations.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting to internal employees.
- Manage virtual host environments (Hyper-V, VMware).
- Configure and maintain Windows Failover Clustering (2019-2022).
- Administer and support Microsoft Entra, O365, and Exchange Online.
- Implement and manage backup technologies (e.g., Veeam, Cohesity, Rubrik).
- Leverage PowerShell scripting for automation and system optimization.
- Collaborate with leadership and end users to identify and address technical needs.
Requirements

- Clear and effective communicator, able to break down technical terms for non-technical users.
- Proven technical expertise with a passion for continuous learning., * Minimum of 10 years of proven Informational Technology experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Systems Administrator.
- Proficiency in managing firewalls, wireless access points, and L2-L3 switch configurations.
- Experience working with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
- Expertise in Active Directory and Group Policy Management.
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
