Job description
We’re looking for an IT Support Specialist who thrives at the intersection of security, compliance, and seamless employee experience. You’ll own the systems and processes that keep our team productive and our environment secure, from the moment a new hire’s MacBook is provisioned to the day a device is retired. You’ll be a key player in maintaining our compliance posture while ensuring our tools and infrastructure scale with the company., * Device Lifecycle Management: Own end-to-end Mac device management using Kandji. You will be responsible for provisioning, enrollment, configuration, patch management, and secure decommissioning to ensure every device meets security baselines from day one.
- Employee Lifecycle: Design and manage onboarding and offboarding workflows, including automated provisioning and deprovisioning of access through Okta so no access lingers when employees transition.
- Identity & Access Management: Administer Okta SSO, MFA, and lifecycle policies, partnering with HR and Security to enforce least-privilege access controls across SaaS applications and internal systems.
- IT & Network Security: Manage and maintain Palo Alto Networks firewalls and security policies, monitoring for threats, tuning rules, and upholding network segmentation standards.
- Compliance & Security: Support SOC 2 or similar audits by maintaining accurate asset inventories, access logs, and evidence of policy enforcement - identifying gaps and driving remediation.
- AV Support: Manage and maintain conference room audio/visual systems, ensuring reliable video conferencing and collaboration tooling across office environments. Troubleshoot issues quickly and own the relationship with AV vendors and hardware.
- Tooling & Automation: Continuously improve IT workflows through scripting and automation, reducing manual toil and increasing reliability across device and identity management pipelines.
Requirements

- Comfortable writing shell scripts or Python to automate repetitive tasks
- Startup or high-growth experience a plus - you’re used to building, not just maintaining
