Job description
Harmony Bank is looking for an IT Support Specialist to join our team! This is a hands-on role supporting employees across our Dallas-area branches with the technology they rely on every day. You’ll troubleshoot issues, set up equipment and user access, support software and hardware, and help keep our systems running smoothly.
We’re looking for someone who knows their way around IT but is just as comfortable working with people. Patience, communication, and a willingness to jump in and help are every bit as important as technical skills.
What You’ll Do
- Provide friendly, responsive technical support to employees by phone, email, chat, and in person.
- Troubleshoot computer hardware, software, printer, peripheral, and connectivity issues.
- Set up, configure, maintain, and upgrade desktops, laptops, printers, and other equipment.
- Install and update operating systems, Microsoft applications, and other business software.
- Create and maintain user accounts, permissions, passwords, and system access while following security protocols.
- Assist with email and intranet user administration.
- Perform routine diagnostics and testing to help identify issues and minimize downtime.
- Work with our Network Administrator to evaluate hardware and software needs and recommend improvements.
- Keep accurate records of support requests, solutions, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Help create documentation and easy-to-follow resources for common technology questions.
- Pitch in wherever needed - because in a community bank, teamwork matters., This position is on-site at our Garland branch and will provide support to our other Dallas-area locations, so some local travel is required.
The role primarily involves working at a computer but may require lifting and moving equipment weighing up to 15 pounds. Occasional after-hours or on-call support may be needed when critical technology issues arise.
Why Harmony Bank?
We’re a locally owned community bank where relationships matter - with our customers and with each other. You won’t be supporting thousands of anonymous users from a ticket queue. You’ll get to know the people you’re helping, see the impact of your work, and be part of a team where your contribution matters.
