We are looking for a Sr. Salesforce Developer with a strong background in development and client delivery who leads by example and helps guide our team to success. Are you passionate about pushing the boundaries of what Salesforce can do for nonprofits, schools, and growing organizations? Do you geek out about what’s new in each Salesforce release and can’t wait to put it to work for a client? Do you thrive untangling a complex automation, designing a cleaner data architecture, or helping a client finally get their system working the way their mission demands? If so, we want to talk to you about joining the Mission In Motion team in our ongoing mission to positively impact our clients through Salesforce solutions that increase workplace efficiencies and drive organizational growth. As a small company, our team enjoys a great deal of responsibility, independence, and variety. We work with organizations of all sizes across the nonprofit, education, and SMB sectors, and we’re good at juggling priorities to keep a wide portfolio of clients moving forward. RESPONSIBILITES

  • Handle support across the full client portfolio independently and without supervision.
  • Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST APIs, OAuth, JSON, and middleware platforms such as MuleSoft or n8n.
  • Lead client and delegation meetings when needed
  • Review team members’ code and configurations to ensure standards are met or exceeded
  • Work with clients to design features and develop estimates.
  • Work closely with Project Managers, Developers and Consultants to design, implement, and maintain solutions at a high standard of quality.
  • Design and build declarative solutions (Flows, Lightning Record Pages, Sharing Rules) and programmatic solutions (Apex, LWC, SOQL).
  • Apply strong data modeling skills including object relationships, schema design, and process documentation.
  • Work with project management tools daily and communicate progress clearly in writing.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Writing skills?, * Demonstrated ability to leverage AI coding tools (Claude Code, Codex, Copilot, etc.) to accelerate development, debug complex problems, and deliver higher-quality solutions faster

  • 5+ years of Salesforce development experience
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I required; Platform Developer II or additional certifications strongly preferred
  • Experience with Agentforce Nonprofit (aka Nonprofit Cloud) and Agentforce Education (aka Education Cloud) is a strong plus

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Strong leadership skills with a positive, solutions-first attitude
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce data architecture and governor limits
  • Familiarity with Experience Cloud and Marketing Cloud is a plus
  • Ability to provide examples or references from past Salesforce work
