As a Security Operations Centre (SOC) Analyst, you’ll play a key role in protecting our colleagues, customers, assets, and operations by managing alarm activations, security incidents, and investigations from initial triage through to resolution.
Reporting to the SOC Manager, you’ll be at the centre of our security operation, providing real-time monitoring and incident response support across the business. Working closely with stores, distribution centres, external suppliers, and law enforcement agencies, you’ll help ensure incidents are managed effectively while contributing to the continuous improvement of our security processes and strategies., As a SOC Analyst, you’ll monitor, assess, and respond to security incidents in real time, ensuring a professional, accurate, and timely response to emerging risks and threats., * Monitoring intruder, fire, and other security alarm systems, responding appropriately to activations and incidents.
- Monitoring alerts across multiple security platforms and identifying potential risks, threats, or anomalies.
- Managing the full incident lifecycle, from initial triage and categorisation through to investigation, escalation, and resolution.
- Maintaining accurate incident records and ensuring all actions are documented in line with established procedures.
- Conducting initial investigations, gathering evidence, and supporting the preparation of investigation packs for law enforcement and internal stakeholders.
- Providing timely assessments of internal and external security threats and escalating incidents where required.
- Working independently and proactively whilst effectively managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborating with stakeholders across Security, Fraud, Retail Operations, Property, Logistics, and Commercial teams to coordinate effective incident responses.
- Building strong working relationships with third-party security providers, alarm receiving centres, and police forces across the UK.
- Analysing incident and crime trends to identify patterns, support preventative measures, and inform decision-making.
- Supporting the development and continuous improvement of SOC processes, procedures, and reporting.
- Applying strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to manage both current and emerging security challenges.

- Ability to produce clear, concise, and professional reports, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Demonstrates high ethical standards and sound judgement, with a commitment to doing the right thing.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, effectively prioritising and managing workloads.
- Experience using CCTV systems, alarm monitoring platforms, and other security technologies.
- Knowledge of incident management processes, including triage, escalation, investigation, and resolution.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic operational environment where priorities can change quickly.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and able to utilise security and case management systems effectively.
