Job description
The Content Administrator plays a key role within the Marketing and Communications Team, developing, coordinating and delivering engaging content across all communication channels to support campaigns, events, stakeholder engagement and wider College objectives.
The role exists to strengthen the Collegeâs brand presence, improve audience engagement, and ensure high-quality storytelling across social media, website content, digital campaigns, the RCSEd App, internal communications and wider promotional activities.
The postholder will create written, visual and multimedia content, manage social media activity, support community engagement, monitor social listening, and ensure all content aligns with brand standards, strategic priorities and audience needs.
There may be requirement for the role holder to work outside of normal working hours and travel for work occasionally.
Requirements
Weâre looking for someone who is organised, proactive and creative, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for producing high-quality content. Youâll be confident managing multiple projects, able to work to tight deadlines, and comfortable taking the initiative while working as part of a collaborative team.
Youâll ideally hold an HND or higher qualification in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, Graphic Design, Journalism or a related discipline (or have equivalent professional experience).
Youâll have experience creating engaging content across a range of digital channels, including websites, social media, email marketing, digital advertising and mobile apps.
A good understanding of content management systems is essential, along with experience using creative software such as Adobe Creative Cloud or similar platforms. Experience producing visual and multimedia content, including graphics, video and podcasts, would be an advantage.
A strong working knowledge of Canva is highly desirable, as it plays an important role in our day-to-day content creation.
Above all, youâll be an excellent communicator with outstanding writing and copywriting skills, a creative mindset, and the ability to prioritise competing demands while consistently delivering high-quality work.
