Job description

We are looking for an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) Architect to design, implement, and maintain secure information systems and architectures. The role will work closely with enterprise architecture, infrastructure, application, and cybersecurity teams to ensure systems are secure, resilient, compliant, and aligned with organizational security standards., * Design and define secure architectures for enterprise applications, systems, networks, and cloud environments.

  • Integrate security requirements into system design, development, deployment, and operations.
  • Conduct security architecture reviews and identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Develop security controls, technical standards, and architecture patterns.
  • Support threat modeling, risk assessments, security assessments, and mitigation activities.
  • Ensure systems comply with organizational security policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, application, cloud, and engineering teams.
  • Review technical designs and provide security recommendations and guidance.
  • Support identity and access management, encryption, network security, endpoint security, and application security initiatives.
  • Evaluate security technologies and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Maintain security architecture documentation, diagrams, standards, and technical roadmaps.
  • Support security incidents, audits, compliance activities, and remediation efforts where required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise security architecture and security engineering principles.
  • Knowledge of network security, IAM, encryption, application security, cloud security, and endpoint security.
  • Experience with risk assessment, threat modeling, vulnerability management, and security controls.
  • Good understanding of security frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, or similar.
  • Experience with cloud security across platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
