Job description

Design, develop, and deploy secure cloud-native applications within AWS GovCloud. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with integrated security scanning. Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform. Design and integrate secure RESTful APIs across enterprise and mission systems. Containerize and orchestrate applications using Docker and Kubernetes. Apply secure coding practices and remediate vulnerabilities identified through code analysis. Participate in Agile sprint planning, peer reviews, backlog refinement, and sprint demonstrations. Create and maintain technical documentation supporting deployments and accreditation. Support cloud modernization and migration efforts from on-premise environments to AWS. Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and mission teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions.

Requirements

Active TS/SCI Security Clearance (Must be current in DISS) Software Engineer / Developer (DevSecOps / Full Stack) 8 + years of Software engineering experience within DoD or federal environments 4+ years recent Full Stack work with AWS and DevSecOpps 3 + years of experience developing secure cloud-native applications in AWS GovCloud 3+ years Experience with Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, AWS GovCloud, Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborate across technical teams DoD 8140 (8570) IAT Level II Certification Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (Experience may substitute for degree)
