Job description

The IT Product Owner (m/f/d) for EPC Project Delivery owns the global portfolio of EPC IT applications that support the planning, control and execution of Exyte EPC projects. The role defines the product vision, roadmap and investment priorities, translates Project Delivery needs into scalable digital capabilities, and ensures products are adopted, reliable, integrated and commercially sustainable throughout their lifecycle. The role connects Project Delivery, Corporate IT and external partners to deliver measurable business value.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

  • Define and manage the product vision, roadmap, priorities and investment portfolio for EPC Project Delivery.
  • Translate common needs across Project Management, Project Controls, Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning into scalable product capabilities and measurable outcomes.
  • Own portfolio lifecycle decisions, including investment, improvement, consolidation, replacement and retirement.
  • Ensure products are successfully delivered, adopted, integrated, secure, reliable and supportable.
  • Manage product budgets, service performance, licenses, risks, vendors and delivery partners.
  • Lead the product team and establish effective governance across business stakeholders, Corporate IT and external partners.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience managing digital products, enterprise applications, or technology-enabled business capabilities within EPC, engineering, construction, or comparable capital-project environments.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Project Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience), experience with Primavera, SAP, RIB, SharePoint, or comparable platforms is an advantage.
  • Strong expertise in product and application portfolio management, including strategy, roadmaps, prioritization, investment decisions, and lifecycle management.
  • Solid understanding of EPC project delivery and construction business processes, including areas such as planning, project controls, cost management, construction, or information management.
  • Good knowledge of solution architecture, systems integration, data management, cybersecurity, and IT service management.
  • Commercially minded leader with experience managing budgets, software licensing, sourcing, vendor performance, and total cost of ownership.
  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, influence international stakeholders, and drive technology-enabled transformation.
  • Fluency in English is required, German language skills are considered a strong advantage.
