Job description

  • Customer Support: Answer inbound technical inquiries via phone, email, and live ticket system regarding meter operation, installation, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Methodically isolate hardware, firmware, communication, and wiring issues to guide customers toward swift resolutions.
  • Technical Guidance: Assist field technicians and engineers with real-time support during installation and commissioning.
  • Documentation & Feedback: Log customer issues and resolutions accurately in our CRM/ticketing system; report recurring defects or technical trends to our Quality and Engineering teams.
  • Product Education: Create user-friendly FAQs, knowledge base articles, and simple troubleshooting guides for common customer queries.

Requirements

  • Technical Aptitude: 1-3+ years of experience in technical support, field service, or customer support within manufacturing, electronics, or industrial control systems.
  • Domain Knowledge: Basic understanding of electrical/mechanical principles, signal outputs (e.g., 4-20mA, pulse, Modbus), or meter calibration concepts.
  • Troubleshooting Mindset: Strong analytical skills with the patience to guide non-technical users through complex technical steps.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • Software Familiarity: Experience using CRM/ticketing software (e.g. Salesforce) and basic diagnostic software tools., * Associate degree or technical certification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related trade field.
  • Hands-on experience with flow, power, water, gas, or process measurement equipment.
  • Spanish speaking abilities is a plus.
