Job description
- Build scalable cloud-native backend services and AI-powered workflows.
- Develop reusable APIs and AI agent services.
- Integrate LLMs into enterprise applications.
- Design and implement event-driven architectures on AWS.
- Manage infrastructure using Terraform and CI/CD.
- Optimize application performance, reliability, and cost.
- Collaborate with engineering teams in an Agile environment.
Requirements
- 6+ years of hands-on backend development using Python (preferred), Node.js, or Java.
- Strong AWS experience with Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, S3, IAM, SNS, and SQS.
- Experience building event-driven, serverless applications.
- Hands-on experience integrating LLMs (OpenAI, Amazon Bedrock, LangChain, MCP, AI Agents).
- Strong API development experience (REST/OpenAPI).
- Experience with Terraform and CI/CD (GitHub Actions preferred).
- Solid understanding of performance optimization, security best practices, debugging, and code reviews.
- Excellent programming fundamentals and problem-solving skills., * Hands-on coding discussions.
- Code review and debugging.
- Identifying performance and security issues in existing code.
- Basic system design and AWS architecture.
- Practical problem-solving using Python and AWS services.
Note: We are looking for a hands-on software engineer who actively writes production code. Candidates with primarily infrastructure, DevOps, or architecture backgrounds and limited coding experience are not the right fit.
