Job description

We are building our founding engineering team at Prime Cargopeople and looking for exceptional Full Stack Software Engineers who want to build AI-powered marketplace technology from the ground up. You will own features end-to-end - from Node.js microservices APIs to React/Next.js marketplace UIs - integrating AI and LLM services, working with real-time event-driven systems, and helping migrate our infrastructure to AWS. High ownership, direct impact, fast-moving team., * Build and maintain the Prime Marketplace: product catalog, search, filters, supplier storefronts, cart and checkout (B2B & B2C)

  • Develop AI-powered features: visual search, voice commerce, hyper-personalized recommendations, dynamic pricing, demand forecasting
  • Design and maintain microservices: auth, user, order, chat management, LLM service, recommendation consumers
  • Build and maintain real-time systems using WebSocket, Kafka, and Redis
  • Develop advanced supplier analytics dashboards (transactional, seasonal, regional data)
  • Build fraud detection, automated returns, and smart loyalty program modules
  • Support AWS migration from existing GCP infrastructure

Requirements

Frontend:

  • 3+ years of React.js or Next.js - component architecture, hooks, state management
  • Strong HTML5, CSS3, responsive design with marketplace or e-commerce UI experience
  • WebSocket and real-time UI integration

Backend:

  • 3+ years of Node.js (Express or NestJS) building REST and WebSocket APIs
  • PostgreSQL and MongoDB - schema design, query optimization
  • Redis for caching and session management
  • Kafka or equivalent message broker experience

Infrastructure & AI:

  • Docker and Kubernetes for containerized microservices
  • AWS (EC2, ECS, RDS, S3, Lambda); GCP-to-AWS migration experience a plus
  • LLM/AI API integration (OpenAI, Claude, or similar) in production
  • CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent), * Experience building B2B or B2C e-commerce or marketplace platforms
  • ML model integration: recommendation engines, pricing models, fraud detection
  • Voice AI or image recognition API integration
  • Background in export/logistics, supply chain, or India-US cross-border trade
