Network Security Systems Manager - Q Clearance Required

Compensation / Benefits * Lead the administration, security, and operations of network security systems in LAN/WAN environments * Manage enterprise network security infrastructure, systems, and technologies * Lead security administration staff and technical teams * Develop and implement security policies, procedures, standards, and controls * Plan, prioritize, and execute network security initiatives in a complex government environment * Identify and mitigate network security risks, vulnerabilities, and operational issues * Support security monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, and assessments * Communicate effectively with technical and management stakeholders to align on security goals Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology with emphasis in Cybersecurity or Information Assurance, Computer Science, or related field * Five (5) years of experience managing network security systems in LAN/WAN environments * Experience leading network security administration staff and technical teams * Experience managing enterprise network security infrastructure, systems, and technologies * Strong knowledge of network security concepts, practices, and procedures * Experience planning, implementing, and maintaining network security solutions * Experience identifying and addressing security risks and operational issues * Strong understanding of firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and secure network communications * Ability to lead teams and communicate with technical and management stakeholders * One or more of: GISP, CISSP, or GSEC certifications Key requirements *
