Experteer Overview In this role you will safeguard government information assets through security assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring. You will work with cross-functional teams to define security requirements, implement policies, and ensure compliance with federal standards. The position focuses on vulnerability management, incident response, cloud security, and Zero Trust principles to protect systems from unauthorized access. Your work supports federal programs and helps scale secure operations across agencies. This is a mission-driven role with a clear impact on national security and government-wide cyber resilience. Compensation / Benefits * Support security, assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring of government systems and information assets * Identify security requirements and implement security policies and procedures * Protect information systems from unauthorized access or modification and monitor compliance * Collaborate with end users and technical teams to align security controls with operational needs * Maintain knowledge of SA&A policies and federal security requirements * Monitor and respond to security incidents and manage vulnerability remediation Tasks * Minimum of four (4) years of cybersecurity experience protecting government systems and information assets * Experience implementing cybersecurity policies, procedures, and controls * Knowledge of SA&A policies, NIST SP 800-37/800-53, CNSSI, and federal cybersecurity requirements * Understanding of CDM, Continuous Monitoring, and Zero Trust Architecture * Experience with cloud security concepts and technologies * Experience with incident response and vulnerability management * Active Q clearance and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field * One or more of the following certifications: GIS P, CISSP, or GSEC Key requirements * competitive salary up to $140,000 * equal opportunity employer
