Experteer Overview Join Micron’s Boise internship to help advance semiconductor process monitoring and AI-enabled productivity. You will work with cross-functional teams to collect and analyze manufacturing data, develop SPC approaches, and support inspection/metrology programs that improve yield and process control. This role blends hands-on experiments with data visualization and problem solving to drive data-driven improvements. You’ll learn advanced inspection technologies and contribute to global manufacturing alignment, with a focus on practical, impactful outcomes. Compensation / Benefits * Develop and apply inspection and metrology methodologies to characterize semiconductor processes * Collect, analyze, and visualize manufacturing data to identify trends and improvement opportunities * Support experiments, technology development, and manufacturing process monitoring * Contribute to statistical process control (SPC) methodologies and monitoring strategies * Collaborate with engineers across process integration, yield, manufacturing, equipment, and technology development * Identify process anomalies and support root cause investigations * Contribute ideas to improve process monitoring and defect detection capabilities * Learn and apply AI tools to enhance productivity, learning, and data-driven decision making * Support global alignment efforts and best-known methods across sites Tasks * Bachelor in Engineering or Science (see fields in description) * Graduation within the past 12 months or expected before start * Demonstrated interest in semiconductor technology via coursework, labs, internships, or projects * Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills * Basic programming or scripting experience (Python, C/C++, MATLAB, SQL) * Experience analyzing technical data and drawing conclusions from experiments * Effective written and verbal communication of technical information * Strong teamwork and collaboration skills Key requirements * medical, dental, and vision plans * paid time-off * paid holidays * income protection during illness or injury * paid family leave
