Job description

Dobbs Defense Solutions is seeking a Mid Level Database Engineer to support secure database administration, maintenance, reporting, and optimization activities for Moodle LMS and enterprise applications supporting U.S. Coast Guard operations., * Maintain and optimize SQL databases and data repositories

Support database backups, recovery, and integrity processes
Troubleshoot database performance and connectivity issues
Assist with LMS data integrations and reporting
Support secure data handling and compliance requirements

Requirements

Do you have experience in SQL?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

2-5 years of database administration or engineering experience
Experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle
Familiarity with secure federal or DoD database environments
Knowledge of backup, recovery, and data protection procedures
Security+ certification preferred
