Director of the Office of Technology & Data Services (TDS)

As the Director of the Office of Technology & Data Services (TDS), you will drive the overarching IT strategy and direction for CDOT. You will be responsible for assessing the technological needs of CDOT employees, selecting optimal IT solutions, and managing the division’’s budget to procure them. Furthermore, you will collaborate with the Governor s Office of Information Technology (OIT) and external contractors to seamlessly implement and deploy new systems, while ensuring the ongoing maintenance and support of existing systems and infrastructure. Finally, you will serve as CDOT s primary liaison to OIT, fulfilling all associated partnership and communication duties.

• At least ten (10) years of experience with a primary focus on providing technology and data services for a business or government entity and/or IT project management, two (2) of which must have included experience with public or business administration, establishing goals and objectives, as well as developing and managing a budget to achieve program goals and objectives., * A combination of related education and/or relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned equal to ten (10) years.
• Education from an accredited college or university with coursework in information technology, data science, business administration, public administration, or another field of study related to the duties of this position will be considered.
• Experience with a primary focus on providing technology and data services for a business or government entity and/or IT project management will be considered, including at least two (2) years of experience with public or business administration, establishing goals and objectives, as well as developing and managing a budget to achieve program goals and objectives.
