Business Intelligence Consultant

• Gathering and documenting data requirements from business stakeholders
• Analysing data pipelines and identifying quality issues or gaps
• Supporting the alignment of data solutions with business objectives
• Engaging with stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics needs
• Contributing to data quality improvement initiatives
• Collaborating with data engineers and analysts to translate business needs into technical specifications
• Documenting findings and recommendations in clear, stakeholder-friendly formats

• Experience in data requirements gathering and stakeholder engagement
• Working knowledge of data pipeline concepts and data quality frameworks
• Familiarity with SQL, Python or similar data tools (or equivalent analytical capability)
• Understanding of business intelligence platforms or reporting tools
• Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Analytics or related field
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Availability to work on contract basis in or around Reading
