Senior Solution Architect - Healthcare Domain

We are seeking highly experienced Solution Architects with strong healthcare domain expertise to lead enterprise-scale digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will partner closely with business and technology stakeholders to define solution strategies, drive architecture governance, and deliver scalable, secure, and innovative technology solutions.

This role requires a blend of business acumen, technical leadership, solution design expertise, and strong communication skills. Candidates should be comfortable working in Agile/SAFe environments and driving cross-functional collaboration across multiple value streams.

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Partnership

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives and define long-term technology roadmaps and architectural vision.
• Align business goals with scalable enterprise technology solutions.
• Act as a strategic advisor to both business and IT leadership teams.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

• Translate complex business requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Communicate architecture decisions and solution approaches to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Influence cross-functional teams and senior leadership through clear communication and strategic guidance.

Technical Leadership

• Provide architectural leadership across enterprise initiatives and project teams.
• Ensure alignment with organizational architecture standards, governance, and best practices.
• Conduct architecture and design reviews to validate quality, scalability, and maintainability.
• Support development teams in resolving technical and integration challenges.

Solution Delivery & Agile Execution

• Participate in business requirement discussions, impact analysis, and solution definition activities.
• Break down business requirements into scalable features, components, and user stories.
• Maintain traceability between requirements and solution components using Jira and related Agile tools.
• Develop logical solution architecture documents, workflows, and design diagrams.
• Participate in Agile/SAFe ceremonies including PI Planning, backlog refinement, sync meetings, and solution demos.
• Collaborate with IT Design Leads and cross-functional value streams to ensure alignment and consistency.

Risk Management

• Identify technical risks, dependencies, and design conflicts throughout the project lifecycle.
• Escalate critical blockers and architectural concerns proactively to leadership.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise security, scalability, and operational standards.

Innovation & Emerging Technologies

• Drive adoption of modern technologies including Cloud, AI/GenAI, Digital platforms, and automation solutions.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative approaches to improve business capabilities and operational efficiency.

Testing & Documentation

• Provide guidance on testing strategies and review test scenarios/cases when required.
• Support consolidation of architecture documentation including Solution Architecture Description (SAD) artifacts and technical design documentation.

Do you have experience in Technical solutions implementation?, Healthcare domain experience is mandatory. Candidates with prior experience working with Kaiser or large healthcare organizations will be highly preferred., * 8+ years or 12+ years of IT experience based on role level.

• Strong understanding of distributed systems, integrations, APIs, and enterprise platforms.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
• Ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to leadership and business teams.
• Experience working in Agile/SAFe delivery environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities.
• Familiarity with architectural frameworks such as TOGAF is a plus.
• Experience with DevOps methodologies and best practices is preferred.

$60 - $70 an hour - Full-time, Contract
