E-Commerce, IT, and Logistics II

The Heritage Society is a rapidly growing luxury resale company specializing in authenticated designer handbags, accessories, wallets, and sunglasses. We source globally and sell through live commerce, Shopify, and social media channels. We are seeking a highly organized and entrepreneurial professional to oversee our e-commerce operations, inventory management, logistics coordination, and online growth initiatives.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building systems, solving operational challenges, and helping scale a growing business., The E-Commerce & Operations Manager will be responsible for managing our Shopify store, inventory systems, logistics workflows, and operational processes that support our live selling business.

This individual will help create structure across sourcing, receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, customer experience, and digital growth initiatives.

Key ResponsibilitiesShopify & E-Commerce

• Manage and maintain Shopify storefront
• Upload and optimize product listings
• Create collections and merchandising strategies
• Coordinate product photography and image management
• Monitor website performance and conversion metrics
• Implement promotions and sales campaigns
• Improve customer experience and website functionality
• Coordinate email marketing and customer retention efforts

Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate inventory records
• Track landed costs and product profitability
• Monitor inventory movement across all sales channels
• Create reporting dashboards for sales and inventory performance
• Identify slow-moving inventory and recommend action plans
• Develop inventory forecasting and replenishment systems

Logistics & Supply Chain

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments
• Manage relationships with freight forwarders, logistics providers, and suppliers
• Track international shipments and customs documentation
• Oversee receiving, processing, and inventory intake procedures
• Optimize shipping costs and fulfillment workflows
• Assist in developing international sourcing and logistics partnerships

Whatnot & Live Show Support

• Prepare inventory for live shows
• Ensure listings are accurate and complete
• Coordinate show preparation and post-show reconciliation
• Track sales performance and profitability by show
• Support operational improvements that increase efficiency and profitability

Process Improvement & Analytics

• Build SOPs and operational workflows
• Analyze sales and operational data
• Create reports and dashboards
• Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements
• Assist ownership with strategic planning and growth initiatives

• 2+ years experience with Shopify
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Experience with inventory management systems
• Strong Excel / Google Sheets proficiency
• Ability to analyze data and identify trends
• Excellent communication skills
• Self-starter mentality with strong attention to detail

Preferred

• Experience in luxury resale, fashion, or e-commerce
• Experience with Whatnot, eBay, Poshmark, or similar marketplaces
• Familiarity with international shipping and logistics
• Experience with AI tools and workflow automation
• Experience with social media management
• Deep understanding of profit and loss reporting

Pay: $55,183.04 - $66,457.00 per year
