Job description
This role will support the ongoing growth of Vizella Media’s local advertising
business by assisting with:

Marketing infrastructure and campaign organization
-
Lead generation support and opportunity tracking

AI-powered workflow and marketing integration

Digital and social media coordination

Graphic design and marketing asset creation

Internal sales support tools and presentations
-
Website and digital campaign assistance
-
Process improvement and operational efficiency
You’ll work closely with leadership and Development Managers to help create
marketing solutions that are practical, creative, and results-focused for a wide
range of local businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing integrated advertising and marketing solutions across
audio, print and digital platforms
- Build and organize internal marketing systems, proposals, and sales support
materials

Support lead generation initiatives and prospect research

Utilize AI tools and automation platforms to improve efficiency, content
creation, research, and workflow
- Establish and maintain a clear intake process for project requests coming
from the team, including building the creative brief and defining the
objective when one is not provided
- Develop creative direction through visual references and moodboards, and
review with stakeholders before production
- Create graphics, presentations, and promotional materials for campaigns
and sales initiatives
- Assist with social media management, digital advertising coordination, and
website support

Help maintain campaign organization, timelines, and reporting

Collaborate with Development Managers to prepare customer-facing
materials and strategic recommendations
- Stay current on evolving design and marketing trends, tools, and
technologies, and bring back ideas that improve workflow, customer
communication, and marketing effectiveness
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional graphic design experience in an in-house, brand-
side, or media environment
- Portfolio required, showing range across digital, social, print, and
presentation design
- Strong understanding of marketing, advertising, branding, and lead
generation
- Strong fundamentals in typography, layout, hierarchy, and color across both
screen and print
- Ability to design within an existing brand system and extend it consistently,
including building templates that non-designers can use without breaking
the brand
- Experience with social media platforms, web-based marketing, and digital
communication

Familiarity with AI-powered tools and emerging marketing technologies

Able to manage multiple projects and produce high-volume work on tight
deadlines without losing quality or consistency
- Comfortable establishing creative direction with strong visual references
and moodboards
- Comfortable presenting work to non-designers, explaining creative
decisions, and handling rounds of revisions

Strong organizational and communication skills

Creative thinker with a solution-based mindset

Comfortable working collaboratively with sales, leadership, and outside
vendors
- Professional, approachable, and easy to work with
Design Tools and Technical Skills
- Adobe Creative Cloud at a working professional level, specifically Photoshop,
Illustrator, and InDesign

Figma for web layouts, mockups, and shared component libraries

Canva for building branded, locked templates the sales team can adapt on
their own
-
Presentation design in PowerPoint, Google Slides, or Keynote
-
Basic motion and video, including animated social posts, simple After Effects
or Premiere Pro work, and short-form vertical editing
- Print production knowledge, including bleeds, trim, CMYK and spot color,
and packaging production-ready files for vendors
- Digital ad specs, including standard display sizes, social aspect ratios, static
and animated formats, and Meta and Google ad requirements
- Web familiarity with WordPress, Squarespace, or similar, plus responsive
layout thinking and basic accessibility such as contrast, legibility, and alt
text
- Email design and layout in platforms like Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or
Klaviyo
- Photo editing and retouching, plus sourcing licensed stock, fonts, and
imagery with an understanding of usage rights
- Organized file management, clear naming conventions, and version control
across shared drives
- Responsible use of AI-assisted tools such as generative fill, Adobe Firefly,
image cleanup and upscaling, and concept ideation, with human review
before anything ships

Large format and out-of-home design, including billboards, vehicle wraps,
signage, and event graphics
