Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Graphic Designer / Marketing professional to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to blend visual design expertise with web development skills, supporting our marketing initiatives and enhancing our digital presence. You will be instrumental in creating engaging graphics, designing user-friendly websites, and implementing marketing strategies that drive brand awareness and customer engagement., * Develop compelling visual content including logos, motion graphics, and digital media for various marketing campaigns.

  • Design and maintain responsive websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and popular content management systems like WordPress or Drupal.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and user interface (UI) designs that optimize usability and accessibility across devices.
  • Implement SEO best practices to improve website visibility and performance through analytics tools such as Google Analytics 360.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce engaging digital marketing materials including email campaigns using Mailchimp or similar platforms.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to refine website layout, interaction design, and overall user experience (UX).
  • Manage website updates, content management system administration, and ongoing site maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
  • Orchestrate communications with architects and general contractors across North America offering support with team members, including marketing related efforts involved with same.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in digital design, interaction design, motion graphics, and visual UI/UX design.
  • Strong proficiency with graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, and InVision.
  • Solid understanding of web development languages including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Angular, React, Node.js, AJAX, Bootstrap, SCSS/SASS.
  • Familiarity with web accessibility standards (WCAG), responsive web design principles, and usability best practices.
  • Experience with content management systems like WordPress or Drupal; knowledge of website management tools such as SharePoint or Joomla is a plus.
  • Data analysis skills using tools like Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics to inform design decisions.
  • Knowledge of front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular), version control systems like Git or SVN, and web production workflows.
  • Ability to create prototypes using Axure or Balsamiq; experience with wireframing tools is helpful.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with marketing teams and stakeholders.
  • A professional portfolio demonstrating a range of digital design projects across media types.
