IT Assistant- Risk Sector

The IT Risk Sector Assistant supports the Risk Sector by maintaining system integrity, assisting with digital platforms, and ensuring effective technical operations across the organization. This role combines user access management, website support, vendor coordination, financial coordination, and technical assistance to help maintain secure and efficient IT services., System Access & Security

• Maintain and manage user access, roles, and permissions across key systems, including corporate email, accounting platforms, and other business applications.
• Assist in ensuring appropriate access controls are consistently applied in alignment with organizational policies.

Website & Digital Platform Support

• Assist in monitoring, updating, and maintaining the host environment for the organization’s websites.
• Support front-end development activities related to the TUC Portal and other internally developed applications.

Data & Platform Management

• Manage and update data across all organization using available platform to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Identify and implement digital solutions that align with the needs of Web Teams across departments.

Vendor Coordination

• Work with vendors to ensure systems, hosting services, and platforms operate efficiently and reliably.
• Assist with vendor-related technical issues and service management.

Infrastructure & Account Support

• Aid with domain management, corporate email accounts, SSL certificates, and hosting services.
• Ensure proper configuration and maintenance of these services for secure and continuous access.

Technical Support & Troubleshooting

• Provide technical support to end users and assist the Help Desk team during periods of high ticket volume.
• Support application implementation, user training, and troubleshooting efforts to ensure smooth deployment and adoption.

Financial & Administrative Support

• Prepare approval requests and assist in forecasting payments related to IT services, vendors, and system subscriptions.
• Support tracking and coordination of expenses to ensure timely processing and alignment with budget expectations.

Project & Team Support

• Provide backup support for various projects led by the Risk Sector Head.
• Assist with cross-functional initiatives related to risk management, system improvements, and digital transformation.

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of IT systems, user access management, and web platforms
• Familiarity with website management tools, hosting services, and domain administration
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Effective communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams and vendors
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data accuracy and system integrity

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with platforms such as Yext, GoDaddy, or similar services
• Basic knowledge of front-end development (HTML, CSS, or similar technologies)
• Prior experience in IT support, web administration, or system coordination roles
