Job description
Position Summary: The IT Administrator is responsible for supporting the organization’s technology environment, including end-user support, system access, and equipment management. This role ensures employees have reliable access to systems, tools, and equipment needed to perform their work. The IT Administrator provides day-to-day technical support, resolves system and hardware issues, and maintains user access and equipment tracking to support operational continuity and productivity across the organization., * Provides end-user technical support, resolving issues related to hardware, software, systems, and connectivity in a timely manner.
- Manages user accounts and system access, including setup, changes, and deactivation, ensuring appropriate access controls are maintained.
- Supports onboarding and offboarding by provisioning system access and deploying or collecting assigned equipment.
- Maintains and tracks IT equipment inventory, ensuring accurate assignment and lifecycle management.
- Troubleshoots and resolves workstation, application, and basic network issues, escalating complex issues as appropriate.
- Maintains help desk processes, including tracking requests, prioritizing issues, and ensuring timely resolution.
- Supports core business systems from an access and user support perspective, ensuring functionality for end users.
- Monitors system access and identifies issues that may impact user productivity.
- Maintains documentation related to IT processes, systems, and equipment tracking.
- Follows established cybersecurity practices, including managing access and identifying potential risks.

Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred, or 3-5 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or system administration environments.
- Experience supporting end-user environments, including hardware, software, and system access.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and user access issues.
- Experience managing IT equipment and asset tracking.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to support non-technical users.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Windows environments, and standard business systems.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity practices related to system access and data protection.
