Job description

Build and refine web components within the Cow stack for prototyping. Collaborate closely with AI/Agent engineering teams to provide “goldens” for component interpretation. Fork and extend production components to capture multi-platform (Android/iOS) specifications. Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement user interface components using react concepts and workflows.
  2. Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code while ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
  3. Collaborate with the design and product teams to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience.
  4. Build reusable components and frontend libraries for future use.
  5. Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web capable devices and browsers.

Requirements

Experience: 8-10 years of professional experience in front-end development (for senior roles). Technical Skills: Expert-level proficiency in React, HTML, CSS, and TypeScript. Specialization: Strong focus on component creation with a heavy emphasis on the CSS layer to ensure pixel-perfect fidelity in component replicas. Location: Must be available to work on-site in California (San Bruno or Mountain View area). Onboarding: Includes a mandatory 2-week ramp-up period to become proficient with Google internal systems and the Google 3 codebase., 1. Proficiency in react.js and its core principles.

  1. Strong proficiency in html, css, and its best practices.
  2. Experience with popular react.js workflows such as redux and flux.
  3. Familiarity with newer specifications of ecmascript.
  4. Knowledge of integrating frontend applications with restful apis.
  5. Understanding of responsive design principles to ensure a consistent user experience across devices.
  6. Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., immutable.js).
  7. Familiarity with code versioning tools such as git.
  8. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Other Requirements 1.Relevant certifications in React, HTML5, or CSS are a plus.
