Full Stack Engineer / Developer

• Develop, test, and maintain features and enhancements for scalable web applications.
• Build responsive, reusable, component-based user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks, with Angular preferred.
• Write clean, maintainable JavaScript and TypeScript code using modern development practices.
• Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs, backend services, shared libraries, and other internal or third-party services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and production issues across applications.
• Investigate application performance issues and help improve load times, responsiveness, and overall product stability.
• Collaborate with frontend, backend, QA, product, and other cross-functional teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Participate in peer code reviews and incorporate feedback to continuously improve code quality.
• Contribute to technical discussions, engineering decisions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Use Git-based version control and participate in established CI/CD and deployment processes.
• Help identify and reduce technical debt while maintaining compatibility across applications and shared components.
• Support the integration and maintenance of shared libraries across products.
• Write and maintain appropriate technical documentation.
• Participate in Agile development practices, including planning, refinement, standups, and iterative feature delivery.
• Take increasing ownership of features and technical challenges as experience and familiarity with our products grow.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools and coding assistants to support software development, debugging, testing, documentation, and problem-solving while maintaining strong engineering judgment, code quality, security, and established development standards., * Help reduce issue resolution time through effective debugging and problem solving.
• Contribute to higher overall code quality through development best practices and code reviews.
• Collaborate effectively across engineering, QA, and product teams.
• Identify opportunities for technical improvements and help reduce technical debt.
• Take increasing ownership of features from development through release.
• Become a trusted technical resource for troubleshooting and increasingly complex development challenges.
• Help the engineering team deliver features efficiently without compromising product stability.

• Strong working knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Experience with at least one modern frontend framework such as Angular, React, or Vue, with Angular strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of HTML5 and CSS3.
• Experience consuming and integrating REST APIs.
• Experience using Git or similar version-control tools in a collaborative development environment.
• Familiarity with modern frontend build tools such as Webpack or Vite.
• Strong web debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Understanding of component-based application architecture.
• Familiarity with web performance best practices and techniques for improving application performance.
• Experience working within an Agile software development environment.
• Understanding of core software engineering concepts, including maintainable code, testing, code reviews, and software development best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and an interest in using emerging AI technologies to improve development efficiency, code quality, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications

The following experience is helpful but not required:

• Experience with Go (Golang).
• Experience with Node.js or other server-side development technologies.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated build or deployment processes.
• Experience working with WebSockets or other real-time application technologies.
• Experience with application performance profiling and optimization.
• Exposure to backend development and API development.
• Experience working with distributed systems or applications that share common libraries and services.
• Experience working within a SaaS, software product, or technology company.
• Experience incorporating AI coding assistants and AI-powered development tools, such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar technologies, into day-to-day software development workflows., We place a strong emphasis on technical ability while recognizing that successful software development requires excellent collaboration. This role is approximately 70% technical and 30% communication/collaboration focused.
