Systems Administrator

Raye IT is looking for an adaptable and flexible Systems Administrator to support a federal client within the Washington, D.C. area. The Systems Administrator is responsible supporting systems, users and applications. It is a technical position. In addition, will be responsible for handling end user support issues and administration of converged hardware and VMWare., Duties include but are not limited to:

• Responsibilities
• Scheduling and deploying patches
• Create, upgrade, and manage server
• Manage group policy
• Microsoft Azure
• Create SOP
• Manage Domain Controllers
• Manage certificates for Domain Controllers and webservers
• Account management
• Monitor server status
• VPN
• Vulnerability Scanning
• Provide Tier 2 & 3/other support and investigate and troubleshoot issues.
• Develop systems engineering planning documents. Perform system engineering and integration (SE&I) for OMAO information management systems and processes.
• Develop, manage, and/or adhere to systems engineering and software development processes to ensure end-to-end integration and improve service delivery.
• Identify and with government approval, implement opportunities to streamline and enhance software administration, site development processes and procedures, and improvements.

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, software engineering, computer science, or related field.
• 5+ years of system engineering experience

Preferred: Azure administration Certification.
