SAP HCM Payroll Support Analyst

Experteer Overview As an SAP HCM Payroll Support Analyst, you will maintain and enhance SAP ECC/S4 Payroll and SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll, working to optimize payroll processes. You’ll lead cross-functional initiatives with HR, Finance, and Tech to translate business needs into effective payroll solutions. The role focuses on Employee Central Payroll and interfaces with related systems, delivering timely support and upgrades. You’ll drive testing, documentation, and collaboration with developers to deliver reliable payroll functionality. This is a hands-on role at Barton Malow, offering impact through scalable, compliant payroll systems. Compensation / Benefits * Lead initiatives by partnering with business owners to analyze processes, gather requirements, and document enhancement specs * Oversee SAP/SuccessFactors system support, including custom functionality and releases/upgrades * Collaborate with SAP Developers and other HCM Analysts to debug issues and implement enhancements * Lead unit, integration, and user acceptance testing for SAP/SF functionality; develop test plans and data * Coordinate with HR, Payroll, Finance, Technology, and Field Services to optimize payroll systems and processes Tasks * Minimum 3 years supporting SAP ECC/S4 Payroll or SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll and BSI Tax Factory * GL Posting knowledge and experience * Experience with full lifecycle projects and upgrades/releases * Understanding of end-to-end payroll processing, tax laws, and labor laws * Payroll configuration, schemas, PCRs, functions, operations * Construction or industrial industry experience is preferred * Experience supporting unions is preferred * Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field Key requirements *
