Control System Integration & Design Engineer

Experteer Overview In this role you will design, configure, and program ICS/OT and PLC systems, including SCADA/HMI solutions. You’ll review architecture designs, support commissioning, and contribute to client design reviews under guidance. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure secure ICS/OT implementations and effective startup. This position offers mentorship opportunities and a chance to shape control system solutions for diverse projects at Brown and Caldwell. Compensation / Benefits * Design and design review of ICS/OT and PLC system configurations * Configure and program SCADA/HMI designs and PLCs * Participate in control system commissioning and startup * Contribute to architecture design and planning evaluation procedures * Analyze P&IDs, specifications, and control strategies * Maintain understanding of ICS/OT networking and cybersecurity requirements * Adapt to additional assignments as needed * Provide mentorship to less experienced team members (optional) Tasks * Minimum 2 years of related experience in Control System Integration and Design and ICS/OT systems * Proficiency in SCADA/HMI design, configuration and programming * Competency in PLC system design, configuration and programming * Solid understanding of commissioning and startup procedures * Knowledge of ICS/OT architecture, networking, and cybersecurity requirements * Effective communication and problem-solving initiatives * Typically SMS framework certification and progressing through competencies * Bachelor in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience) Key requirements * medical * dental * vision * 401(k) with employer match * tuition reimbursement * paid time off
