The instructor will teach groups of up to 12 participants and should be comfortable working with adult learners ranging from individuals who are relatively new to SharePoint to employees responsible for creating, managing, and improving SharePoint sites., Additional Microsoft 365 or technology training opportunities may be available in the future to instructors with expertise in related areas.

Microsoft SharePoint Modern Experience: Site Basics
This course introduces employees to working effectively within a modern SharePoint environment.
Topics include:
- Navigating Microsoft SharePoint sites
- Accessing and working within team sites
- Creating and working with SharePoint lists
- Creating custom list views
- Using document libraries
- Uploading, storing, organizing, and managing documents
- Creating and using document templates
- Searching for SharePoint content
- Sharing documents and information
- Collaborating on documents with other users
- Managing document versions and document recovery
- Working with SharePoint content offline
- Using rule-based automation
- Using Microsoft Power Automate to automate workflows
Microsoft SharePoint Modern Experience: Site Owner with Power Platform
This course is designed for more advanced SharePoint users who are responsible for creating and managing SharePoint sites and business processes.
Topics include:
- Planning a SharePoint-based intranet
- Creating and configuring SharePoint team sites
- Creating and configuring communication sites
- Connecting multiple SharePoint sites through hub sites
- Configuring site navigation, themes, and templates
- Creating and managing custom SharePoint page layouts
- Advanced management of SharePoint document libraries
- Advanced management of SharePoint lists
- Importing and managing list data
- Creating calculated columns
- Configuring data validation
- Improving data entry and presentation
- Creating applications using Microsoft Power Apps
- Modifying Power Apps applications
- Integrating Power Apps with SharePoint Online
Instructor Responsibilities
The Contract SharePoint Instructor will:
- Deliver engaging, professional, instructor-led SharePoint training to corporate employees.
- Teach in-person classes of up to 12 participants.
- Follow the established Logical Operations curriculum and course materials while supplementing instruction with practical examples where appropriate.
- Demonstrate SharePoint functionality live for participants.
- Guide students through hands-on exercises and classroom activities.
- Explain technical concepts in clear, practical language appropriate for business users.
- Answer participant questions and provide additional clarification when needed.
- Adjust the pace of instruction based on participants’ experience levels while ensuring required course content is completed.
- Help participants understand how SharePoint can be applied to common workplace collaboration, document management, and business-process scenarios.
- Assist participants with minor technical or configuration issues encountered during classroom exercises.
- Review the course environment and training materials prior to each class to ensure exercises function correctly.
- Arrive prepared and on time for scheduled training sessions.
- Maintain a professional and positive learning environment appropriate for corporate clients.
- Communicate any classroom, technical, curriculum, or participant issues to the training organization following each session.
Requirements
The ideal candidate combines strong technical knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 with excellent presentation, communication, and classroom facilitation skills., Candidates should have:
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint Online / Modern SharePoint
- Experience creating and managing SharePoint sites
- Strong knowledge of SharePoint lists and document libraries
- Experience with SharePoint permissions, navigation, pages, views, and site configuration
- Experience working with SharePoint team sites and communication sites
- Experience with SharePoint hub sites
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Power Automate
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Power Apps
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 and its integration with SharePoint
- Ability to demonstrate SharePoint functionality in a live classroom environment
- Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical business users
- Professional demeanor when working with corporate clients
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom of up to 12 adult learners
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates who have:
- Previous experience teaching Microsoft SharePoint courses
- Previous corporate or adult education training experience
- Experience delivering hands-on technology training
- Experience implementing or administering SharePoint environments for organizations
- Experience developing SharePoint-based business solutions
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Power Platform
- Experience with Power Apps and Power Automate workflow development
- Microsoft certifications related to Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power Platform, or related technologies
- Experience customizing training examples to reflect real-world corporate use cases
Instructor Profile
We are particularly interested in instructors who are both technical experts and effective teachers.
The successful instructor should be able to do more than demonstrate where buttons and menus are located. The instructor should be able to explain how organizations use SharePoint for document management, collaboration, intranet development, workflow automation, and business-process improvement.
Candidates should be comfortable answering practical questions from corporate employees and demonstrating how SharePoint, Power Automate, and Power Apps can be used together in a modern Microsoft 365 environment.
