Senior QA Automation Engineer

We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Playwright, JavaScript, and TypeScript to join our software quality engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced QA Automation Engineer, SDET, Test Automation Engineer, or Senior QA Engineer who enjoys building scalable automated testing frameworks and working closely with software developers.

In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain automated test suites, integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, and help ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications throughout the development lifecycle., * Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Playwright

• Build and maintain scalable test automation frameworks
• Develop automated tests using JavaScript/TypeScript
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, including GitHub Actions
• Perform functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end testing
• Collaborate with developers to improve testability and overall software quality
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
• Analyze test results and provide quality metrics and recommendations
• Mentor QA engineers and promote automation best practices

• 5-7 years of professional QA, software testing, or test automation experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright or a comparable automation framework
• Proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript
• Experience building or maintaining test automation frameworks
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Solid knowledge of functional, regression, API, integration, and E2E testing
• Experience with Jira or similar defect/test management tools
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Selenium, Cypress, WebdriverIO, or Puppeteer
• API testing experience with Postman, Swagger, or similar tools
• Performance/load testing experience
• Experience with Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized environments
• Experience testing real-time or mission-critical systems
• Familiarity with GitHub Copilot, GenAI tools, or cloud-based AI services
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
