Job description

Cook Technology Corporation is the first and largest tech co-op, founded in 2000.

Techs here want to expand what they know and handle more work by doing diverse work orders near them, working independently at the sites but with a supportive team online.

Cook Tech is Florida’s leading on-site IT provider covering 97% of the market with around 500 techs, doing tens of thousands of work orders, including all enterprise-level IT.

You are supported by the most experienced leads in the business to help you get good ratings. Clients can see your ratings whenever they book jobs, so you build a reputation that gets seen and lasts.

Techs must be diligent and thorough when following directions and ask for help when needed. Assignments are dispatched via email, with validations completed through online forms.

Typically, techs handle 2-3 work orders daily, each requiring 2-3 hours of commitment, usually during standard business hours. After-hours calls earn a premium rate of 150%. Material expenses are reimbursed to techs at local rates, which are profitable to the techs and we encourage techs to pursue entrepreneurial endeavors that do not violate the NC or NDA.

Successful candidates rise to leadership roles, with opportunities for advancement to administrative positions within six months, contingent upon their reviews. Administrators receive 20% of revenue from managed jobs. Those with a tenure of at least one year of administration can acquire ownership of their market, aided by increased earnings and financial support from the company.

At Cook Technology Corporation, collaboration with top-tier professionals fosters personal and professional growth. Comprehensive training covers all aspects of the tech business, including printer maintenance, network configuration, and security systems. While support is available via phone, autonomy and self-sufficiency are emphasized.
