Job description
We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and operate scalable technology platforms supporting enterprise applications and business-critical services. This role will provide technical leadership across cloud infrastructure, continuous integration and delivery, infrastructure as code, container orchestration, observability, security, and production reliability. The Senior DevOps Engineer will collaborate with software engineering, architecture, cybersecurity, infrastructure, data, and product teams to improve deployment processes, platform performance, scalability, and engineering productivity. The successful candidate will contribute to cloud modernization initiatives, establish reusable automation, strengthen monitoring and incident response practices, and improve the reliability and consistency of production environments. This position requires strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, scripting, * Design, implement, and maintain scalable DevOps infrastructure supporting production, development, testing, and business-critical application environments.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, AWS CodePipeline, or comparable platforms.
- Build and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Pulumi, Azure Bicep, or equivalent technologies.
- Administer and optimize cloud infrastructure across AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform while following enterprise architecture and security standards.
- Design and operate containerized application environments using Docker, Kubernetes, Amazon EKS, Amazon ECS, Azure Kubernetes Service, or comparable technologies.
- Develop automation for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, application deployment, monitoring, and operational processes using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar scripting languages.
- Implement and maintain observability solutions covering system metrics, application performance, centralized logging, distributed tracing, alerting, and service availability.
- Establish production reliability practices covering incident response, root-cause analysis, capacity planning, disaster recovery, backup, resilience, and service continuity.
- Collaborate with software engineering teams to improve release processes, deployment strategies, environment consistency, configuration management, and developer workflows.
- Implement DevSecOps controls covering secrets management, identity and access management, vulnerability scanning, dependency management, container security, and automated compliance checks.
- Review infrastructure architecture and operational processes to identify opportunities for automation, cost optimization, performance improvement, and operational risk reduction.
- Participate in architecture reviews, technical design sessions, proof-of-concept initiatives, and cloud modernization projects.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, infrastructure standards, reusable automation modules, operational procedures, and production runbooks.
- Provide technical leadership during critical incidents and complex production issues while mentoring engineers and promoting continuous improvement across DevOps practices.

- 6 or more years of professional experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, including the design and operation of production cloud environments.
- Advanced knowledge of Linux administration, networking, DNS, TCP/IP, load balancing, storage, identity management, and enterprise infrastructure operations.
- Demonstrated experience developing and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, AWS CodePipeline, or comparable platforms.
- Strong Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Pulumi, Azure Bicep, or similar technologies.
- Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Amazon EKS, Amazon ECS, Azure Kubernetes Service, or other container orchestration technologies.
- Strong scripting and automation capabilities using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or comparable programming and scripting languages.
- Experience implementing monitoring and observability technologies such as Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK Stack, Splunk, Datadog, Amazon CloudWatch, or Azure Monitor.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps principles, including secrets management, IAM, encryption, vulnerability assessment, container security, dependency scanning, and secure software delivery.
- Experience with Git-based development workflows, branching strategies, pull requests, code reviews, automated testing, and release management.
- Strong understanding of high availability, disaster recovery, scalability, performance optimization, capacity planning, backup, and service reliability principles.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex infrastructure issues to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Preferred certifications include AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, HashiCorp Terraform Associate, or comparable credentials. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
