Job description
- Lead the scoping, analysis and prioritisation of strategic divisional initiatives.
- Work closely with senior decision-makers to understand business needs and identify suitable technology solutions.
- Engage senior stakeholders to maximise value from new and existing IT services.
- Develop demand management capabilities aligned with operational and change processes.
- Support the development of high-quality business cases with clear benefits, managed risks and alignment to strategic objectives.
- Create and maintain a divisional demand roadmap aligned with the wider business platform model.
- Develop stakeholder strategies and effective engagement plans.
- Build trusted, long-term relationships with divisional leaders.
- Act as the primary point of contact between business and technology teams.
- Gather stakeholder feedback and drive continuous improvement.
- Balance long-term strategic goals with practical improvements that deliver immediate value.
- Champion the cultural and behavioural changes required for successful transformation.
- Ensure delivered solutions provide lasting and measurable business benefits.
- Promote IT best practice, innovation and modern business platform design.
- Encourage accountability, adaptability and new ways of working across teams.
Requirements
- Previous experience as an IT Business Partner or in a similar senior technology and business-facing role.
- Strong stakeholder management experience, including working with senior leaders and decision-makers.
- Ability to translate technical information into clear business outcomes.
- Experience managing and prioritising business demand.
- Strong understanding of business cases, benefits realisation and strategic roadmaps.
- A pragmatic and delivery-focused approach.
- Ability to balance strategic ambition with operational constraints.
- Excellent communication, influencing and relationship-building skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Agile ways of working.
- Experience bringing diverse business and technology teams together.
- Strong change management and leadership capabilities., * Please describe your previous experience working as an IT Business Partner, including how you have managed senior stakeholders, prioritised business demands and translated technology initiatives into measurable business outcomes.
