Technical Lead - Snowflake

We are looking for an experienced Senior Consultant / Lead with strong expertise in Snowflake, GitHub, and Octopus Deploy to lead the design, implementation, and deployment of modern cloud-based data platforms. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data engineering, DevOps, CI/CD automation, and cloud technologies, with the ability to mentor teams and drive technical excellence., * Design, develop, and optimize scalable data solutions using Snowflake.

• Lead the implementation and management of CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and Octopus Deploy.
• Build and maintain secure, automated deployment processes for cloud-based data platforms.
• Develop and optimize ELT/ETL pipelines for large-scale data processing.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Ensure platform security, governance, and compliance best practices are followed.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement performance improvements.
• Mentor developers and provide technical leadership across project teams.
• Participate in solution architecture, code reviews, and technical design discussions.
• Drive DevOps best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

• 8-20 years of IT experience with strong expertise in data engineering and cloud technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake administration, development, and performance optimization.
• Strong experience using GitHub for source code management and version control.
• Expertise in Octopus Deploy for release management and deployment automation.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Strong SQL and data modelling skills.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT tools and data integration frameworks.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Shell scripting.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, or similar).
• Knowledge of container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or other DevOps tools.
• Snowflake or cloud certifications are desirable.
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.
