Job description

We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Developer with around 6 years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, and cloud-based data solutions. The ideal candidate will design, develop, optimize, and maintain scalable data pipelines and solutions using the Snowflake platform., * Design and implement data models (Star/Snowflake schemas) in Snowflake.

  • Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using tools like Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, or external ETL tools (Informatica, Talend, Azure Data Factory, etc.).
  • Load and transform structured and semi-structured data (JSON, Parquet, Avro) into Snowflake.
  • Write advanced SQL queries, stored procedures, and Snowflake scripting.
  • Optimize Snowflake performance (query tuning, clustering, partitioning, warehouse sizing).
  • Implement data security and governance (RBAC, masking, encryption).
  • Integrate Snowflake with cloud platforms like AWS / Azure / GCP.
  • Work with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) for reporting and analytics.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and warehouse performance.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Version control systems?, * Strong experience in Snowflake Cloud Data Platform

  • Proficiency in SQL (advanced level)
  • Hands-on with data warehousing concepts
  • ETL/ELT development experience
  • Knowledge of Snowflake features:
  • Snowpipe
  • Streams & Tasks
  • Time Travel & Zero Copy Cloning
  • Data Sharing

Programming & Tools

  • Python / Shell scripting (good to have)
  • Experience with ETL tools:
  • Informatica / Talend / DBT / ADF / Airflow
  • Version control tools (Git)

Soft Skills

  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and collaboration
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities, * Certification in Snowflake (SnowPro Core / Advanced)
  • Experience with Data Lake and Data Mesh architecture
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines in data engineering
  • Knowledge of real-time data processing
