Job description

As a Data Analyst Associate, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). You will play a crucial role in supporting the oversight, monitoring, and audits of the Medicare Drug Price Negotiation Program.

  • Support oversight and monitoring of the Medicare Drug Price Negotiation Program with data analysis and reporting.
  • Collaborate with Medicare Drug Price Negotiation Program investigators and auditors identify solutions to complex challenges.
  • Drive critical thinking and exploratory research to understand program rules and how data can provide insights to inform decision making.
  • Utilize Python, Snowflake, and SQL to uncover patterns and trends in large datasets that are meaningful to program oversight and action.

Experience:

1 + years of related experience, * Bachelor’s Degree and at least 1 year of Data Analysis experience

  • Experience using Python for data analysis
  • Understanding of SQL for data extraction
  • Familiarity with data stack tools such as Snowflake

Benefits & conditions

The likely salary range for this position is $59,500 - $80,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

The GDIT Paid Family Leave program provides a total of up to 160 hours of paid leave in a rolling 12 month period for eligible employees.
